Ragnarok Productions' Joubin Mortazavi & Eli Frankel recently
won Grand Jury Prize for their original screenplay
DEAD BEHIND THE EYES at the 5th
Annual Rhode Island International Film Festival.
The screenplay is a murder-mystery
set in New Orleans that charts the dark journey of a homicide
detective in his hunt for a serial killer.
Last year, 21 had
its world premiere at this festival and won Best Picture!

Pickford Theater on the following dates:

The
Ragnarok Productions group recently travelled to New York for
the IFP Market 2000. 21 screened on Saturday,
September 16th at the Angelika Theatre. A party was held the
night before at SPA, with an after-party at Revival. |
Filmmakers
Eli Frankel and Joubin Mortazavi joined cast members Matt Wheeler,
Mike Shea, Dave Cast and Zack Carter, and their friends and
family, for the New York premiere of 21. |

On
August 9, 2000, Joubin Mortazavi, Eli Frankel, "Boy Wonder"
Etan Frankel, Mike Shea, Matt Wheeler, Zack Carter and Dave
Cash travelled to Providence for the 4th Annual Rhode Island
International Film Festival. There,
they saw a lot of great films, partied a little too heavily
and picked up an award for Best Picture.
