Formed in 1998 by partners Eli
Frankel and Joubin Mortazavi, Ragnarok Productions, Inc. set
out to develop and produce feature films. Their first project,
21, was co-written by the partners, with Eli
serving as Director and Joubin serving as Producer. Completed
in early 2000, 21 had its World Premiere at
the 2000 Rhode Island International Film Festival where it
was awarded the Eastman Kodak Award for Best Picture of the
Year. |
Since then, Ragnarok Productions
has acquired the rights to several screenplays while further
developing two scripts written by the two partners, most notably
an action thriller that has been co-optioned by producer Dan
Voltz. They plan on getting their next project off the ground
by late fall 2000.

On the production front, Ragnarok
Productions has developed and produced 13 commercials in both
Los Angeles and Las Vegas. "We handle every part of production,"
says Joubin. "We write and develop scripts, cast the
project, handle all of production, and then take it into and
through post-production, finally delivering a finished product." |
