ELI
FRANKEL - Director/Co-Writer
A native
of North Carolina, Eli headed out to Los Angeles where he
began his creative pursuits in the film industry at the University
of Southern California's prestigious film production program.
There, he wrote, directed and edited several short films before
he met Joubin Mortazavi. The two began collaborating on the
script "21" while they were still in college.

Upon graduation,
he edited numerous films and television projects, including
several independent feature films and an extensive list of Network
and Cable television projects for Fox, NBC, VH1, Comedy Central,
Lifetime, A&E, Bravo and E! |
In
1998 he co-founded Ragnarok Productions with partner Joubin
Mortazavi. He has since completed "21", his feature
film directorial debut. In 2000, Eli directed a slate of commercials
for several restaurants and hotel/casinos in Las Vegas. He
is currently developing several screenplays including an early-American
period piece and a story based on a popular children's novel.

JOUBIN
MORTAZAVI - Producer/Co-Writer
Joubin Mortazavi relocated from
Iran to the United States in 1979, at the height of the Iranian
revolution. He and his family settled in Hollywood, Ca, where
his love of film quickly became the main focus of his life.

He attended the University
of Southern California with a theater directing scholarship,
where he also picked up degrees in English and Business, with
a minor in film production. |
In 1998, Joubin and partner,
Eli Frankel, CO-founded Ragnarok Productions, Inc. and produced
the company's first feature film, 21, based on a script that
the two had co-written. |
Since
then, he has produced 13 commercials and line-produced 3 feature
films, most recently "The Ides of March" for Giants
Entertainment, starring Gary Daniels and Michael Madsen. He
has completed several screenplays, including a comedy set in
Chicago, a period piece set in Medieval Spain and a thriller
entitled Dead Behind the Eyes, which has been co-optioned by
producer Dan Voltz. |
